What Is IELTS?
The International English Language Testing System, Abbreviated, IELTS examination is one of the most popular tests taken in Ghana along with the Test of English as a Foreign Language -TOEFL.
IELTS is designed to help you work, study or migrate to a country where English is the native language. This includes countries such as Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK and USA.
This test is handy If you are looking to work, live or study in an English-speaking country, you need it so as to be able to demonstrate a high level of English language ability.
How many IELTS test are there?
IELTS has two types namely; IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training. Both tests assess your English language skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking.

IELTS Exams Requirements in Ghana
As a Candidates, willing to wrote this test, you must come with you original ID, no candidate will be allowed to take the test without the original ID document. The ID document should be Passport/ National ID for Ghanaians.
Note: A student ID, Voters ID and driver’s license will not be accepted.
The ID document is strictly a valid Passport for non-Ghanaians. Any other identity document will not be accepted. Please note that candidates under 18 years of age have to supply written consent by a parent or guardian in order to apply for a test place.
