Admission Requirements for NC(V) Students
These are the requirements needed when applying at Goldfields TVET College.
The N Programmes focus on developing artisans. They are offered in N1 to N3 Engineering programmes and N4 to N6 in areas of Business studies.
For entry into the National Certificate at NQF Level 2 you require:
- A Grade 9 School Report/ AET Level 4; or
- An NQF Level 1 qualification
- You must have a grade 9 certificate: Before applying to our College, you must have completed grade 9.
- You must be at least 16 years old: No applicants under the ages of 16 will be accepted.
- More advanced courses may require higher certificates: Courses like engineering and higher grade studies require a higher level of education.
- Entrance Exam/ Cap Test: Our College requires that you write an entrance exam as part of your application process. This helps the College gauge each student’s numeracy and literacy skills.
- Applicant interview: Each applicant may need to go through an interview process to be considered in certain instances.
