UNISEL Scholarship for International Students
The University of Selangor Malaysia-UNISEL Scholarship for International Students is a fully government-owned institution in Malaysia, established in 1999.
Due to the collaboration between the governments of Kenya and Malaysia, the UNISEL Scholarship Award for International Students (USAIS) is offering one hundred and sixty (160) undergraduate scholarships to Kenyan students in eight (8) programmes.
The scholarships are as follows:
- Sixteen (16) students will get a 100% tuition scholarship.
- Forty-Eight (48) students will get 50% tuition scholarship and
- Ninety-six (96) students will get a 25% tuition scholarship.
UNISEL Scholarship Selection Criteria
To receive the scholarship, students have to register as full-time students at UNISEL.
The commencement of the scholarship scheme is for the April, August, and November 2024 intakes.
The programmes offered by USAIS are as follows:
- Bachelor of Electrical Engineering with Honors
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering with Honors
- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with Honors
- Bachelor of Biotechnology Industry with Honors
- Bachelor of Occupational Safety & Health (Hons)
- Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Hons)
- Bachelor of Information Technology (Hons)
- Bachelor of Computer Science (Hons)
UNISEL Scholarship Eligibility
- The applicant must not be more than 25 years of age
- Must have an original KCSE certificate with a minimum grade of
B (Plain) - Birth certificate
- Not bonded to or be a recipient of any financial aid or
award, scholarship, or bursary from other educational institutions or
organizations - Passport-size photograph with white background (35mm by
35mm) - The applicant must be in excellent health condition and fill a health
declaration form certified by a doctor or medical professional.
How to Apply for UNISEL Scholarship
All eligible candidates must read and follow the following guidelines:

- Download the STANDARD SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION FORM
from the Ministry of Education website via the link below - Complete the application form with attached certified photocopies of ID, academic or professional certificates, transcripts, birth certificates, and/or other testimonials, and send them to:

27th Floor, Room 2701, not later than February 28, 2024
