How to Apply for Inter University Transfer Online
Follow these steps to successfully apply for an Inter University Transfer Online;
- Visit: http://student.kuccps.net
- Click Transfers Tab on Top (Then follow the steps below after payment)
- Select Programme
Put the PROGRAMME CODE in the inter-institution transfer form here at Select the Program you Want to Transfer To. Then, if you satisfy the minimum and cutoff standards, you will only be permitted to move on to the following phase.
- Transfer Payment
- Endorsement By Receiving Institution
- Endorsement By Releasing Institution
- After your transfer has been approved by the receiving institution, the releasing institution will then endorse your transfer.

Once your application has been reviewed by KUCCPS and approved then the next and last step is downloading the transfer letter and presenting it during admission or reporting.
The Transfer Forms can be filled online. You don’t have to present them to the university of transfer physically.
NOTE: A fee of Ksh 1,000 must be paid for inter-institution transfers. You should only continue if you comprehend the transfer application instructions completely. Only students who took the KCSE in 2021 or 2022 are eligible for transfer. When changing your course while still enrolled in the same university, you should do it after reporting there rather than through the KUCCPS portal.
The Inter University Transfer request takes about 14 working days for KUCCPS to review and approve your transfer after it has been endorsed by both the releasing and receiving institution.
